You might have heard of Pika Labs. If you haven’t– that’s totally ok and if you have, maybe just skip to the Freddie Mercury video below then 😉.
Pika Labs allows users to generate video content simply by typing text prompts, without needing to capture footage or edit video manually. It's an automated video creation tool using AI that is currently in beta testing.
This week, Pika Labs they came out with a super simple and short video walking you through step by step how to create videos from text. It will get your creative juices following, check it out.

I keep a finger on the pulse of what is going on in the generative AI space (or I at least make my greatest attempt to) I want to share funny images or musings I have in regards to AI. Enjoy ✨
I came across the visual below this week I wanted to share. There are a lot of AI companies we know about (OpenAI, Microsoft, etc.) but there are a TON of other companies that aren’t making the splashy headlines yet. I think you should know about them. I’m no finance expert, but this definitely has me re-thinking what investment possibilities are out there. 💁♀️
⭐️ Question: What are the odds my job is going to be automated?
Answer: This UK study reveals the jobs "most exposed" to AI—and what that means
I share this not to create fear, but to create importance. I’m right here with you, figuring out “What does this mean?” and ultimately to be a resource to help.
The study does not specifically identify jobs that are most likely to be fully replaced or substituted by AI. Instead, it focuses on measuring the relative exposure of different occupations and industries to advances in AI.
Professional occupations are more exposed to AI, particularly those associated with clerical work and across finance, law and business management roles. Highly exposed occupations include management consultants, accountants, and psychologists.
The finance & insurance sector is more exposed to AI than any other industry sector. Other highly exposed sectors include information & communication, professional services, property, public administration, and education.
Employees with higher level qualifications, like university degrees, are typically in more AI-exposed jobs compared to those with lower-level qualifications.
Subject areas like accounting, finance, economics and mathematics lead to more AI-exposed jobs, while lower-level qualifications in manual trades like construction and manufacturing lead to less exposed jobs.
The analysis considers relative exposure to AI rather than distinguishing augmentation versus substitution. Separate research suggests customer service, administrative and clerical roles have high potential for substitution.
So occupations focused on routine information processing, clerical work, and customer interactions show the highest potential to be substituted by AI according to other research referenced.
However, the main analysis in this report is looking at overall exposure to AI rather than specifically substitution. Manual skilled trades are least exposed overall.

Learn how generative AI was used to represent the life experiences and wisdom of diversity, equity, and inclusion pioneer James Lowry through an interactive question-and-answer format, increasing understanding and accessibility of his influential work.
Lowry was the first Black person hired as a McKinsey consultant in 1968. Since then, he has gone on to write books, which he used to train his interactive vehicle Kobie AI, created by Kobie Fuller of Upfront Ventures.
Pioneers like James Lowry broke critical barriers, but not everyone knows the full context. This technology brings influential DEI journeys to life for employees, customers, and partners.
TLDR: I think this is going to be an important space for brands to leverage AI for social impact - increasing access, understanding, and engagement with diverse change-makers who shaped our present. Implementing similar applications can be transformative for any organization's DEI efforts.

This program is San Fransisco-based, but you only need to go to the opening and closing weeks of the program.
