• FoxyAI's proprietary AI models can analyze property photos and videos to generate highly accurate Quality Scores (rating finishes from Luxury to Basic) and Condition Scores (rating condition from Brand New to Heavy Damage) on a 6-point scale aligned with industry standards.

Forget Cloud AI - Opera Brings Local AI Models Natively Into Web Browsers

Opera is set to become the first major web browser to integrate on-device AI capabilities into its flagship Opera One browser and gaming browser Opera GX.

• This allows access to local large language models (LLMs) directly within the browser application across Windows, MacOS, and Linux devices.

• Opera's move brings on-device AI from an experimental phase to being a core feature in browsers used by millions daily.

• It enables new use cases while adding privacy by limiting the need to transfer personal data to servers when using AI.

• Opera has expanded its browser AI "Aria" with new image understanding capabilities this week, allowing users to upload images and get information and context about them from the AI.

• This is part of Opera's vision to make all its users "AI users" backed by investments like an AI data cluster in Iceland.

Kapor, Omidyar, SF Foundation Lead $25M Push for Equitable AI Across California

• National funders Kapor Foundation, Omidyar Network, and San Francisco Foundation have jointly committed $25 million to fund organizations focused on centering equity in the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) across different sectors.

• This commitment is in response to California Governor Newsom's executive order to study the responsible development and use of AI technologies.

• The funders believe California is uniquely positioned to lead the nation in setting standards for responsible, equitable, and ethical AI development and deployment.

• The investments aim to support education, workforce development, innovation, advocacy, and regulation to ensure AI benefits all communities, especially those historically marginalized.

• Beyond the initial $25 million commitment, the funders will work alongside various stakeholders to co-design new initiatives that reshape the AI landscape in California.

• They also aim to galvanize the philanthropic sector to invest in organizations using responsible AI for education, workforce, innovation, and infrastructure.
